Britain's most southerly point

Today I went for a blustery walk at Britain's most southerly point; the Lizard. Following this I attended the private view of John Howard's etchings at the Open Space Gallery on Market Street, Penryn: definitely worth a visit.

1950's pattern

I have designed this 1950's inspired pattern to go on the tents for a set of camping images for the Rocket Gardens.
I took inspiration from the fruit leaves I was illustrating a few weeks ago, and also the cow parsley I did a sketch of when I was camping in St. Agnes last month.

Minack Theatre

I went to see James and the Giant Peach at the Minack Theatre, Porthcurno on monday. The play was extremely entertaining and had me in fits of giggles many a time. Earthworm was my favourite character clad in a pink onesie, raybans and and matching pink hard hat (safety first!) When told he was to be used as live bait to catch seagulls which would lift the peach clear of the water he shrieked "I am NOT hearing this!"
Whilst feasting on cheese bread and wine, we spotted two basking sharks roaming around in the bay. Did you know basking sharks have three fins?

I was asked to design a poster for the Cube Theatre advertising their new play Pinocchio. The play is aimed at a young audience and I was asked to work in quite a naive style to reflect this.
Here is what I came up with...

Art on the underground

I am currently trying to get my dissertation somewhere near finished.....However work must go on! I designed a poster for London Transport's Art on the Underground scheme.
I thought it would be nice to advertise Fulham Palace as it seems to be a bit of an undiscovered gem and more people should go there as it's beautiful.
The actual bit of the poster which has the underground logo etc on it, is from an original poster which I used to get a feel for what it would look like....
